Pride Announces New Assistant Coaching Director

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (February 2, 2022) – Pride Soccer Club is delighted to announce the hiring of Andi Waterhouse to the position of Assistant Director of Coaching.

Andi, a Pride alum and Colorado Springs native, returns to the club following a distinguished playing career and having coached in the college ranks.  Andi, formerly Andi Tostanoski, played her collegiate soccer at Santa Clara University where she earned 3 trip to the NCAA tournament, including reaching the round of 32 on 2 separate occasions and once going all the way to the Elite 8.  Andi demonstrated her leadership skills at a young age, captaining Santa Clara for 2 years before moving into the Women’s professional game with Seattle Reign who she represented in 2016 & 2017.  She was named WCC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2014 and 2015, a Regional All-American in 2015 and the WCC Co-Champion in 2013.  Andi has also been honored locally and was inducted into the Colorado Youth Soccer Hall of Fame in 2011.

As a coach, Andi got her start as Graduate Assistant Coach at Hawaii Pacific University in 2017 before coming back home to take the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach position at Division 1 Colorado College in 2019.  Andi also maintains a coaching role for the Region IV ODP program as an Assistant Goalkeeper Coach.  Andi will complete her USSF C-License in the coming weeks.

Technical Director Jay Rayner had this to say: “I’m absolutely delighted to bring Andi back to the club.  Andi’s pedigree, playing experience and knowledge of the club, college and professional game will compliment our program and bring further expertise to our operations.  Andi’s drive and winning mentality are immediately obvious to all who she encounters.”

Andi will start in her new role with immediate effect and will work primarily within the Competitive Girls programs but also with both boys and girls within the Goalkeeping program.
